Are you like me and like to sneak a taste of your dough or batter while you bake? I’ll admit I rarely feel guilty when I do it, nor do I fear the effects of raw eggs or flour. However, creating a healthy and Edible Brownie Batter makes me feel a lot better about my choices in life.

I love this Edible Brownie Batter recipe not only because it is healthy, but it also tastes exactly like brownie batter! You won’t have to worry about eating too much of this because it is completely edible. Not to mention, it is packed with protein! What more can you ask for?

It takes only 5 minutes to make which is another bonus. Especially when you are craving something sweet and chocolatey we often want something that is readily available. So rather than reaching for something unhealthy and processed, have this Edible Brownie Batter handy in your fridge.

Other great things about this recipe? It is completely gluten free, and the honey can easily be swapped for maple syrup to make it vegan. I use Arbonne Chocolate Protein Powder which is completely vegan and so delicious!

Ingredients

1 cup ground GF oats

1 cup natural smooth peanut butter

½ cup honey

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

2 TBSP cocoa powder

1 TSP vanilla

1 TBSP of almond milk (optional)

Chocolate chips to top (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Add oats, protein powder and cocoa powder to a medium sized bowl and mix.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir. Include almond milk if you find the mixture too dry.
  3. Add to bowl topped with chocolate chips and store the rest in the fridge until ready to eat!
