Have you ever heard of the chunky monkey drink? You know the one you typically get while on a tropical vacation? Well, these Banana Protein Balls are the healthy, alcohol-free, protein ball version of that delicious beverage.

I made a batch of Banana Protein Balls this morning and my kids just gobble them up. If I can sneak in some fruit, fibre, and protein with my kids all in one shot, I am a happy camper. Not to mention, I also added one to my lunch for a mid-morning snack.

Firstly, this recipe is just the right amount of chocolate. Secondly it has the perfect amount of banana flavour. Lastly, it has a nutty flavour to tie it all together!

The best part of this banana protein ball recipe is that it is refined sugar free, easy to make and no-bake. Of course, you can swap the honey for maple syrup to make it vegan. Also, it can easily be made gluten free by simply using GF oats.

So, when those bananas are starting to look a little brown on your counter because the kids stopped eating their fruit than throw one into a bowl and make this recipe! It is delicious, nutritious and oh so satisfying!
