Summer is here which also means peach season is upon us! Living in the beautiful Niagara region, I have access to some of the most delicious peaches right outside my door. So, creating recipes that include or star peaches is a MUST in July! Hence, the birth of this Healthy Peach Crisp recipe.

But what do I mean by healthy you ask? Well look at this list:

✔️Refined sugar free

✔️Gluten-free

✔️Dairy-free  

✔️only 7 healthy ingredients 

This crisp is delicious! I kid you not, you will need to hide this on yourself and others to avoid eating it all in one sitting!

This Healthy Peach Crisp is a perfect dessert, but it also doubles as a healthy snack or even breakfast! I love to top it with plain Greek yogurt as shown below. 

I dare you to try out this recipe and only have one serving! 

Ingredients 

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup ground oats

½ tsp cinnamon 

¼ tsp salt

1/3 cup coconut oil melted

1/3 cup honey (use Maple syrup for vegan option)

4 cups peaches diced (approx. 4-5)

Instructions

  1. Grease an 8×8 glass baking dish and preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Add diced peaches to baking dish
  3. In a medium bowl mix together rolled oats, ground oats, cinnamon and salt
  4. Add honey and melted coconut oil to mixture and stir until combined. 
  5. Pour mixture over peaches and spread evenly
  6. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until top is golden brown. 
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving!
