Looking for a good midday snack to get you through the afternoon slump? Or maybe even something to satisfy an after-dinner sweet tooth. I’ll admit, I give these to my son after dinner and have him convinced that it’s dessert! These are the ultimate family favourite. I’m lucky if these protein balls last even 2 days in my household. The best part is they are quick and easy to make!

Ingredients

½ cup natural peanut butter (I use chunky)
½ cup oats
¼ cup honey (I use slightly less for firmer dough)
½ tsp vanilla
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
2 TBSP dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. If using protein powder mix it with the oats first in a medium bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  3. Add chocolate chips and mix.
  4. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes (this will make the dough easier to roll)
  5. Using about 1 TBSP of dough roll into ball shapes and place in a sealed container and back into the fridge until you are ready to eat!

I hope you enjoy these as much as my family and I do!!
