Our favourite night of the week in our family is fajita night! No matter which way I am making my fajitas this recipe is my go-to Fajita Seasoning to give it that tasty flavour. 

Seasoning is everything in a recipe, yet it is such a quick and simple addition. I love to have this Fajita Seasoning pre-made so that I can just add it to my dinner recipes in a jiffy. 

I find it stores well in the cupboard for a few months. You may just have to stir it around before re-using it. Just be sure to seal it well in an airtight container. 

The best part about this Fajita Seasoning is you can add it to veggies, tofu or lentils/legumes for those vegans and vegetarians. However, it can also be added to meat and fish. I use this seasoning on rainbow trout for fish taco night for the other members of my family!

Ingredients 

  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika 
  • ¼ tsp cumin 
  • ½ tsp salt 
  • Pepper to taste 

Instructions

  1. Measure out ingredients into a small dish and mix well. 
  2. Store in a sealed container in the cupboard until ready to use.
