I’m not sure what my family would do without energy balls readily available in our fridge. I am constantly trying new creations with energy balls using my family as the guinea pigs! Recently I experimented with chocolate date energy balls. It was a great success and loved by all!
These chocolate date energy balls have so much going for them! Firstly, the dates and walnuts allow for a great base to this recipe. Secondly, the combination of flavours between the coconut, chocolate and almond butter make them irresistible! Thirdly, what I love most is they are protein rich and refined-sugar free! Moreover, they also have gluten free and vegan options by using vegan chocolate chips and gluten free oats! Finally, this is a no-bake recipe making snack time a major win!
