If you follow me at all on this blog you will realize that I love everything to do with snacks, especially protein balls! I am constantly experimenting with my protein snacks. These Chocolate Almond Protein Balls may have just taken my #1 spot for the best protein balls to date.

With only 6 clean ingredients these babies take about 15 minutes to make including firming time! They are no-bake with vegan and gluten-free options. Best of all, they are packed with protein making them the perfect snack for after a workout or to power you through that midday slump.

For this recipe, I also used my homemade almond butter which you can find the recipe here. Give it a try if you want to save a little money and whip up your own butter!

So, if you have 15 minutes then try out these easy, healthy, and delicious Chocolate Almond Protein Balls.

Ingredients

½ cup ground oats

½ cup almond butter

¼ honey (Or vegan liquid sweetener)

½ tsp vanilla

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Arbonne protein powder)

1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. If you don’t have ground oats on hand, simply blend rolled oats in a blender or food processor for a few seconds.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix oats, almond butter, honey, vanilla, and protein powder.
  3. Add chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Put in fridge for about 10 minutes to allow dough to firm slightly. This makes it easier to roll into balls.
  5. Using 1 TBSP of dough roll into equal sized balls.
  6. Place in sealed container and store in fridge for up to 7 days
