I don’t know about you, but I always like a little something to cleanse my palate after a meal particularly dinner. This chocolate chia pudding recipe is my go-to healthy dessert recipe that is a guilt-free way to complete my meal!
Quite honestly, I think chia seeds are an amazing discovery! The fact that they can transform into a pudding and yet be so nutritious just blows my mind. As a result, I am more than happy to invite this dish to my table anytime.
This Chocolate Chia pudding recipe really meets all my dessert requirements:

This recipe truly is the best way to end your meal. But what is even better about it is that it is a great way to start your day! I love a recipe that can act as a healthy dessert or healthy breakfast or healthy snack! However you choose to eat it I promise it won’t disappoint!
Ingredients
¼ cup chia seeds
1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
1 TBSP honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Unsweetened shredded coconut and chocolate chips as optional toppings
Instructions
- In a medium bowl add chia seeds, cocoa powder, vanilla, honey and almond milk
- Whisk all ingredients well until chia seeds are evenly distributed and cocoa powder is fully mixed.
- Allow to sit on counter for approximately 15 minutes
- Mix well again and refrigerate until ready to eat!
- Serve in a bowl with the toppings of your choice.
