People often ask me what meal I miss most since becoming vegetarian. I’ll admit I have always loved a good burger in the summer months on the grill. However, I can’t honestly say that I miss burgers because there are SO many delicious Veggie Burger recipes for the summer months and beyond.
A few requirements I have that make these the Best Veggie Burgers. First, they must not crumble upon baking or eating! Second, They MUST be healthy and wholesome. Third, they must be simple to make with simple ingredients. Lastly and most obviously they must be vegetarian with vegan options.

Simple Sweet Potato Black Bean Burger – Nora Cooks
These burgers are a guaranteed hit with the whole family! They have a slight kick to them but is neutralized by the sweet flavour from the potatoes! It is the best of both worlds.
Mediterranean Chickpea Burgers – Darn good Veggies
These burgers are by far my favourite veggie burger recipe. Even my meat-eating husband and very picky children gobble these burgers up. They are the perfect combination of sweet and salty.
Baked Falafel Burgers – Minimalist Baker
I make a lot of falafel around my house and I must say this is my favourite falafel recipe!
Spinach ‘Burgers’ – Wonderful Cook
To really finish these burgers off right try spreading some Tzatziki on top.
