I think it’s safe to say bananas are my favourite fruit. It’s also safe to say that energy balls are my favourite food group (ha-ha!). So, the marriage of these two items only seems natural. The final product results in these delicious Banana Bread Energy Balls.
These babies are vegan, naturally sweetened, gluten free and no-bake! Not to mention, they are moist and so satisfying. If you aren’t a big breakfast person, they are the perfect thing to munch on while running out the door in the morning.
All you need for this Banana Bread Energy Balls recipe is a food processor and only 7 simple ingredients:
- Rolled oats: you can easily use gluten free oats to make this recipe gluten free!
- Medjool Dates: I buy the whole ones and pit them myself!
- Medium ripe banana
- Pure vanilla

- Chia seeds
- Cinnamon
Ingredients
1 cup oats
6 pitted dates
1 medium banana ripe
½ cup homemade peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBSP chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until a dough like consistency forms
- Scoop by the tablespoon and roll into individual balls
- Place in a seal tight container and store in fridge
- Consume within 5-7 days or store in freezer for up to a month.
