Are you looking to start working out but not sure where to start? Well look no further because I have developed a 2-week home workout plan for you! I can assure you that this plan is effective and efficient because it’s the workout plan I do at home every week.
People always ask me how I stay in such good shape especially with kids and working.
First, I attribute it to consistency. I create a plan and I stick to it every week.
Second, I PLAN!! Undoubtedly, There is nothing worse than winging it. You are more likely to make up excuses if you don’t have a well laid out plan. With that said, each week I plan out which workout/type of workout I will do for each day of the week.
Finally, no matter how busy, stressed or tired I am I always remind myself of the benefits of exercise. For me a workout makes me a better person in so many ways. It increases my patience, my energy, improves my sleep and my overall mood. Never have I ever regretted a workout. Therefore, on those days where I’m struggling to get a workout in, I simply remind myself of how good I will feel after!

To give you a breakdown of my typical home workout schedule, I like to engage in about 4 days of cardio and 2 days of yoga. I take 1 rest day which I usually incorporate an outdoor walk but nothing more intense than that.
All I ask is that you give it 2-weeks and try it out! I have engaged in a lot of different workout plans and I always come back to this combination of workouts because I always see results!
